Karen Buck

Karen Buck is Member of Parliament for Regent's Park and Kensington North. Karen has served on the Work and Pensions Select Committee since 2001 and before that served on the Select Committee on Social Security from 1997 to 2001. She was also Chair of the London Group of Labour MPs 1998-2005.

Before being elected to Parliament in 1997, Karen Buck worked for the Labour Party in the Campaigns Office and before that as a Policy Officer specialising in health. She also worked for a charity specialising in employment for disabled people and at the London Borough of Hackney in the same field
