London Child Poverty Commission Launches Final Report - Capital Gains

This report summarises the Commission’s findings on the challenge facing London in tackling child poverty and sets out our recommendations, based on two years of research and consultation. It builds on our Interim Report published in September 2007.

The report was drafted by Declan Gaffney on behalf of the London Child Poverty Commission, an independent commission set up by the Mayor of London and London Councils. It was edited by Doreen Kenny at the Greater London Authority, with the help of members of the Commission and its Secretariat and other members of staff at London Councils and the Greater London Authority.

The Commission would like to thank the vast number of individuals and organisations who have contributed their expertise and evidence to our work. It is impossible to summarise all these contributions in one document, but a wide array of detailed supporting documents can be found on our website.
