Indicators of child poverty in London - second monitoring report

Understanding the changing landscape of child poverty is one of the London Child Poverty Commission's tasks. This is not to collect data for data's sake, but to be able to develop the right policies to reach the right people.

This report brings together fifteen indicators which track progress on children's welfare and life chances in London. It reveals both just how large a challenge it is to make in-roads into child poverty in the capital, but also where it is possible to make progress.

This year's special feature focuses on housing tenure, showing how disadvantage overlaps - with low levels of employment and high levels of child poverty concentrated in council and housing association properties.

The report also includes borough figures for those indicators where the information is available.
